ASIGNMENT #5 GANGS ON THE STREET

Gangs have been a part of history since the beginning of mankind. In different ways than now but from a specific point of view every nation is its own gang. Why they are maid is an enigma that has too many factors to count. They have been a very unpleasant problem that seems to be unstoppable and un containable. This blog is to enlighten the reader’s thoughts on this topic. From poverty to boredom the things that bring generations of teens as well as adults in to this way of crime are very hard to stop in time. How many gangs are there? Why did they choose to join? When did they begin? And will they ever end? Or will they be a part of life for as long as people exist? These questions are very serious topics. As such they should be completely understood so that it may better the judgment of whoever is the one that decides is time to change the world for the better. Clearly not every one thing they can make a difference but in reality if all were to come together and find the answers to these question it is not impossible to pull the plug on what we see as crime and they see as their life.
Beginning with one of the reasons people start gangs the basic group of friends may not have bad intentions but they might realize that there is strength in number. So in search of not being a target of people’s discrimination they sometimes seek others to join their “group”. The next step to the formation of a gang would be the beginning of their actual activities that forever label them as a gang such as crime. For some crime is viewed as a police officer chasing a robber who wears striped clothes from jail when in reality it’s a very dangerous activity that can involve mugging, drug dealing and even murder.  Some may realize this too late when they are already involved too deeply to turn back. No one can say exactly what kind of activity gangs perform but they can be as harmless as stealing a candy bar from the neighborhood store to something homicidal like killing people for money or burning down a building. So in definition gangs are a group of people who come together and commit criminal activities to gain money, get a couple of kicks out of it, or for whatever other reason they choose but the fact still remains that they can only blame themselves for what they do and no one else.
Another main reason that leads people to joining a gang is the never ending problem of poverty. People find themselves not gaining enough income from their job and decide that it would be easier to turn to crime. Since crime can make a lot of money people are tempted to commit it for financial purposes. So this problem could probably be fixed by adding those who need help with money. Yet another thing that makes it so easy to be dragged into a gang is the peer pressure that is placed on the person. It could be from friend or total strangers but there are still any people who recruit others and continue to bring the idea forward. I some lived in a gang dominated area it is more likely that their friends join. Some teens don’t fully understand the true danger of gangs so only seeing the possibility of losing their friends they join a well. Perhaps the strangest thing that leads teenagers to join is the simple emotion of boredom. It is a very understandable feeling that could make a person do anything to fill time with some activity. These teens are being entertained by causing mischief. An extremely simple solution to this problem would be to open up sports and cubs that will be fun and keep kids out of trouble by having something to do for the time. The last one is despair. This may cause teens to think bad thoughts about themselves if their families were unfortunate when it came to jobs they may feel like they will have the same luck, so they see a way out. Looking for alternatives is extremely difficult for some people who don’t know what they are doing, and they will look for the first opportunity to do better for themselves and their families (which is perfectly understandable). With a crime money comes in tons so without thinking of the cost they find it a good idea to join a gang.

Let me tell you a story about something that did happen. Once in the 9th grade I met really cool kid named Alex and we got along pretty well but his family was poor an eventually he told me that he sold drugs to help out his family. Now a regular person would have told on him or tried to talk him out of it but I am not like that I still thought he was cool so I still hung out with him. One day a police officer found him selling at the park near where I live and he got taken to court. After that I never heard from him again. I think now back on that and maybe I could have helped him because he was not a bad person he just needed the money and he couldn’t really get a job at that age. But I will never think less of him because he was my friend.

So in conclusion gangs are a big part of society that must be changed for the better of society. So the best thing to do would be to not tolerate gangs and when there is a showing of gang activity make sure that there will be a very steep price for the members to pay. A message to all those who are thinking crime as a solution remember there is a reason that bad guys never win in movies or cartoons. Just remember that crime doesn’t pay.

ASIGNMENT #3 BULLYS MUST STOP

There is a really big problem facing the entire world that has had its toll on the lives of the people being oppressed by others that try to harm them. Weather you see it or not since the beginning of time man has noticed the valuable fact that there is safety in numbers and will pair off to make a point in an argument like how to run the village or something like that. There is not too much that can really be done about it if you don't know exactly how to deal with it. This problem is the cause of many less than pleasant events. Some worst than others the outcomes of bulling varies from depression to suicide. Who is the one that is hurt by this the most? Why do people feel the need to bully? And what can be done humans do to stop this madness? Well this blog will not give you all of the answers you seek, but I know that it will give you some new found knowledge having something to do with this very important and important subject. This blog is not for someone specific to see but it will concern most parents.

Bullies are almost in every imaginable place on earth, so hiding from them is not the best way to avoid them because they usually tend to find you if they targeted you for whatever reason. In all kinds of shapes and forms bullies have a way of making their victim or victims lose not only confidence but hope. Most of the time a person will make go to incredible lengths to make a point and make everyone else see thing the way he does, why? Maybe for acceptance from the rest of the world, maybe they feel they need to whatever the reason it does not excuse their actions. One of the believed reasons that bully’s un-ethical behavior is that they themselves are feeling bad or are uncomfortable about something, so they use their tormenting as a way to make him or herself feel respected or accepted. Because no one is saying anything to stop them the bully late gains a feeling of acceptance from the others. This is one of the reasons that bullies are sometimes popular among their "friends" or "peeps". Another simple reason that reason that a bully is popular is intimidation cast by the bully, it’s a feeling that sais, “like me or else”. Think back to your childhood, what was it like? Were there bullies there? Did they bully you or someone else?

Of course the bully is the one to hold responsible but there are clearly people that are never fully held responsible for what the bullies do. For example the parents are an extremely big influence on the child's way of thinking and future actions, so by simply illustrating harsh behavior towards a specific group of people the child will learn harmful thinking about the group and proceed to duplicate the same behavior. Another group of people who are not recognized for this are the bullies "friends". They give a bully a sense of security that makes him or her even more unaffected by others. By hanging out with him the bully hears nothing but, “hey we accept you for who you are and we love the way you handle your problems”. Yet another factor that changes a person’s life for the worst may be a bad experience that made them see the world differently for example if a child witnesses a robbery committed by blacks then it is very possible that he will grow to hate that specific group and oppress it when he gets an opportunity.

The friends sometimes simply hang out with the character for "protection" or other reasons, unaware that their actions of staying silent are actually supporting the bully and his way of thinking. These people are just as responsible as the bully himself for they illustrate no signs of disapproval of the actions that they clearly see as wrong. This is a simple outcome of being scared themselves of the bully and searching for his good side so that they may be safe from him. For this reason the kids that witnessed this tormenting being preformed rarely ever inform the proper authorities, mainly out of their fear that the bully will find out of their “snitching” and will proceed to make this person it’s new target of torment until he is dealt with or he gets bored of him. Lastly the last thing that will be said of the reasons is that the biggest influence that effects these people, the ones that are to blame is society itself. The ones who do nothing to really stop it, they are the biggest reason for bullies to exist. If they can’t stand up for themselves then the next generation will have to. Literally the people of our world are cowards that will cause the rest of us a lot of pain and suffering.

So in conclusion there are many factors that affect a bully situation like parent, friends, and the victim. A bully will mainly target those who would probably not fight back. You will never see a bully go after a football player because it is easy to see that he will fight back. So I believe that as equals no one should have to suffer these kinds of thing because it's simply not right or convenient for anyone and in no benefits society. The world is full of cowards, there are many things to do to stop it but it is chosen not to. Everything in this world has more than one reasons for its existence and it should be simple. There are plenty of problems in the world that are filling this world with madness and despair, our world is falling apart as it is and people have plenty of pain to deal with we don't need any more problems when we are being overwhelmed by others.

ASIGNMENT #2 WHO AM I ?

There are many questions man as asked himself about who they are?, where they came from?, and why they're here?. With me included man has tried to answer these questions in their own ways. Who you are cannot be defined in few words for it is a variation of many different things like personality, morality and a multitude of other factors. I’m not a normal person or so I've been told and I accept, and support it because I've learned I am who I am, and nothing can change that. You are who you are and there are very few things you can do about it you can ether accept it and try to be happy with what was given to you or completely hate who you are and always attempt to be something that you will never be. To everyone to finds my blog wired, I really couldn't care less what you think. I’m a very strange but not complex person I hope that I can tell all I can in this Blog. The way I would describe myself is a simple beacon of light that will always be there to help those being almost fully consumed by darkness.

What makes someone who he is? Is it where he comes from/ or is it his history? An individual’s soul, mind or personality is formed by hi experience and observations about the world from the moment he is born a child will learn from what he can comprehend and will act out on it for the rest of his life. What makes me an individual is what makes me who I am. I’m a giver, a person who can never say no when asked for favor. I'd rather be invisible than to affect people negatively in any way. I enjoy people’s company, but after a time I just want to be alone and some people can't understand that. Although I don't hang out with a lot of people I enjoy their company a lot, but I suppose that I'm also afraid of too many people. No one will change who I am because in the end I am what I choose to think I am. In my dreams I am the hero and sometimes the villain of the story, the one who makes the rules the one who everyone knows, the one that cannot be harmed. I always dream big and to me the sky is the limit. I am a very confident and determined person who does not give up. The main thing that I always aim for is to meet people who understand, respect and accept me for who I am. There are no limits to what I won't do to keep everyone happy. However, I can be the most stubborn person ever even when I'm wrong I always try to defend my point of view, but after a while I decided that me arguing wouldn't help me in any way, so I just stopped and stayed quiet.

I guess I have a lot of fears that I never really noticed or tried to beat. Maybe I’m just not comfortable with the fact that I might lose if I try to beat my fears. I can be obsessed with the simplest of thing but in due time get bored of them and move on to another thing. This aspect of me is one of the reasons I can never set my mind to something, so I have very little motivation for lots of things. So finding a girlfriend has kind of been a problem. But everyone knows that when I do set my mind on something I will waste no time, I will go out of my way to make whatever it is completely perfect in every way I can. Not bound by anything my capacity to enjoy what I have or am suck with is absolutely one of the many thing that make me a true individual unlike anyone else. Something else that makes me who I am is my way of thinking, for example when I think about mankind I don’t think of people now I begin with cave men then move forward in time to get a better view of what I want to see.

My inner gifts are one of the reasons people like me. I will always do my best to support anyone even a random stranger in any way I can. I'm a very sensitive person that can have empathy with people without a problem. Sadly me being sensitive means that I can get my feelings hurt easily and that might affect my judgment toward the one who hurt me or to anyone else. I am a loving person who gets close to people really quickly and I always try to form a bond with those people. Even if they don’t want to be my friend I won't give up and will be their friend in any way I can. If you asked my friends what they think of me I believe there answer will be a positive comment. My way of thinking may be unorthodox and I may not be the best looking guy in the world but I believe that if I went back in time I wouldn’t change a single thing about myself, why? I don’t really know but I think that I am fine with the way I tuned out.

There were many things that changed me from who I was before to what I am now. One of my favorite quotes is from a cartoon, “A sound soul, dwells within a sound mind and a sound body" to me this quote really speaks to me and it led me to realize that in the true end the shape and form don’t matter, the only thing that really matters is the soul. So I no longer hate myself because of what I look like, what I do or can’t do because in truth I know I am a good person and I want to keep it that way no matter what. So when the day comes when I have to be judged for who I am there will be nothing but goodness to see.

ASIGNMENT #4 THE THREAT OF SUICIDE

One of the many things that can completely change the lives of an entire community is the timeless vent of suicide. Although you may not find this to be a serious problem in our society, you may discover that the true risk that the next generation is going to face is extremely harsh and filled with sorrow. The path of suicide is not an easy one, because of its many ways of manifesting in our children. Its nature is as intense  as the way it is committed.
There are many very complicated reasons that this act is committed. For example suicide is a result of a person attempting to escape their world because they feel unable to proceed with their lives due to stress or circumstances that make this person feel in a very tight position and have no way of gaining relief. The variation of suicide is not something you would want to talk to people about but from hanging yourself to swallow pills with alcohol it seems to have lots of opportunities of being done. The reasons this act is done are actually the things that we can influence without a problem. Teens are the most prone to suicide in fact is one of the leading causes of death in teens 14-17.
The unbearable consequences of suicide affect more than just the one who did it, but their families are affected a lot after losing a part of their family they can fall into a deep depression themselves .the loved one’s family can start to point fingers and place the blame on the ones who could have affected this outcome without realizing that they were the ones with the most influence but do not want to believe this truth that they could have stopped it but did not attempt to help. Another person who could be an influence to this decision would be the actual source of stress to that person.
The actual source of stress that leads a person to suicide can also vary from home life to their job but it will eventually be on the shoulders of the one person who is consciously acting to cause this person stress and sadness. You never really know who it is or why they are doing it but sometimes there is no way of stopping that person but you can always try to support the person when they are not being affected by it like at home or after school. In some cases the actual cause is their home life were they should try to seek help outside the family.
In conclusion suicide is a hard thing to deal with but it is possible. The way that the person feels there is no way out and the only solution to stop the problem is to end their own life so that they won’t have to deal with it. So there is only one thing that people can do, help in every way you feel is right and take into consideration what he or she feels about the topic of suicide.

ASIGNMENT #1 INFP

Healers present a calm and serene face to the world, and can seem shy, even distant around others. But inside they're anything but serene, having a capacity for personal caring rarely found in the other types. Healers care deeply about the inner life of a few special persons, or about a favorite cause in the world at large. And their great passion is to heal the conflicts that trouble individuals, or that divide groups, and thus to bring wholeness, or health, to themselves, their loved ones, and their community.

Healers have a profound sense of idealism that comes from a strong personal sense of right and wrong. They conceive of the world as an ethical, honorable place, full of wondrous possibilities and potential goods. In fact, to understand Healers, we must understand that their deep commitment to the positive and the good is almost boundless and selfless, inspiring them to make extraordinary sacrifices for someone or something they believe in. Set off from the rest of humanity by their privacy and scarcity (around one percent of the population), Healers can feel even more isolated in the purity of their idealism.

Also, Healers might well feel a sense of separation because of their often misunderstood childhood. Healers live a fantasy-filled childhood-they are the prince or princess of fairy tales-an attitude which, sadly, is frowned upon, or even punished, by many parents. With parents who want them to get their head out of the clouds, Healers begin to believe they are bad to be so fanciful, so dreamy, and can come to see themselves as ugly ducklings. In truth, they are quite OK just as they are, only different from most others-swans reared in a family of ducks.

At work, Healers are adaptable, welcome new ideas and new information, are patient with complicated situations, but impatient with routine details. Healers are keenly aware of people and their feelings, and relate well with most others. Because of their deep-seated reserve, however, they can work quite happily alone. When making decisions, Healers follow their heart not their head, which means they can make errors of fact, but seldom of feeling. They have a natural interest in scholarly activities and demonstrate, like the other Idealists, a remarkable facility with language. They have a gift for interpreting stories, as well as for creating them, and thus often write in lyric, poetic fashion. Frequently they hear a call to go forth into the world and help others, a call they seem ready to answer, even if they must sacrifice their own comfort.

Princess Diana, Richard Gere, Audrey Hephurn, Albert Schweiter, George Orwell, Karen Armstrong, Aldous Huxley, Mia Farrow, and Isabel Meyers are examples of a Healer Idealists.
